“For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.”
רוּחַ
Spirit, wind, breath. Ruach. The breath of God that gives life. The Holy Spirit. The same word used when the Spirit hovered over the waters of creation.

To cover, to conceal. Kasah. He who covers his sin will not prosper. Covering sin keeps it alive. Confessing it ends it. Bring it into the light.
