“Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.”
נָטָה
To incline, to stretch out, to bend. Natah. He inclined His ear to me. God bends down to listen. He positions Himself to hear the faintest cry of His people.
רוּחַ
spirit

Spirit, wind, breath. Ruach. The breath of God that gives life. The Holy Spirit. The same word used when the Spirit hovered over the waters of creation.
