“Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.”
רָחַם
To have compassion, to show mercy. Racham. As a father has compassion on his children. God's compassion is parental. Fierce protective tender and unconditional.

Heavens

Heaven, sky. Shamayim. The visible sky and the spiritual realm where God dwells. God inhabits eternity but also dwells with the humble and contrite in spirit.
