“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.”
דַּעַת
Knowledge, intimacy. Da'ath. Deep personal knowing, not just information. God wants to know you and be known by you. Not a transaction but a living relationship.

Thirst, physical desire for water. Tsama. My soul thirsts for You in a dry and weary land. Spiritual thirst is a sign of life. Only God can satisfy it.
