“In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.”

I will have compassion on/ you
To have compassion, to show mercy. Racham. As a father has compassion on his children. God's compassion is parental. Fierce protective tender and unconditional.
