“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
אוֹר
The first thing God spoke into existence. Light does not negotiate with darkness — it simply arrives and darkness is gone. David says the LORD is his light. Not a torch he carries. The LORD Himself is the light. You cannot be lost in the dark if God is with you.
