“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.”

Each, every one. Hékastos. Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess. No one is overlooked, and no one is exempt. Account for yourself.

To tempt, to test, to try. Peirazo. He was tempted in every way just as we are yet was without sin. Jesus was tested in every area of human weakness. He understands your struggle.

Dragged out, enticed to sin. Exelkō. Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own desire and enticed. Sin does not ambush from outside alone. Know what pulls you.
