“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

Grace, favour, gift, charm. Charis. By grace you have been saved through faith. Grace is God giving what we do not deserve. It is His nature expressed toward those who need Him.

Humility, lowliness of mind. Tapeinophrosune. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Humility is a choice.

Great, large, important. Megas. A great door and effectual is opened. God opens great doors. Do not settle for small thinking about a great God. He works on a grand scale.
