“In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.”
חֶרֶב
A sword, a cutting weapon. Chereb. Reckless words wound like a sword. Wise words bring healing. The tongue is more powerful than any physical weapon.
