“Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.”
חֹשֶׁךְ
Darkness. Choshek. The absence of light. God separated light from darkness. Jesus said He is the light of the world. Whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness.

let it settle down

Dwell, settle, tabernacle. Shakan. To settle and make a home. God desires to dwell among His people. He still seeks hearts to dwell in today.
