“Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him. ”

Commandment, order, directive. Entole. A new commandment I give you that you love one another. The commandment to love is not optional. It is the defining mark of discipleship.
