“Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. ”
τίθημι
To put, to place, to appoint. Tithemi. Father into Your hands I commit My spirit. The final act of Jesus was an act of trust. Put everything in His hands. That is where it is safest.
