“And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!”

Jewish, belonging to Judah. Ioudaios. Salvation is from the Jews. God chose a people to bring the Messiah into the world. His choice of Israel was for the benefit of all nations.
