“This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judea into Galilee. ”
σημεῖον
Sign, miracle, token, wonder. Semeion. Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Signs point beyond themselves. The miracle is never the main thing. It points to the One who does it.
