“In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.”

Lame, crippled, limping. Cholos. The lame walk. What could not move under its own power was healed by the power of Jesus. He still restores what has been crippled by life.

To be weak, to be sick. Astheneo. When I am weak then I am strong. Weakness is not a problem to be fixed. It is the condition in which God's power is most clearly seen.
