“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”

To send, to dispatch, to commission. God sent His Son born of a woman born under the law to redeem those under the law. Mission begins with sending and sending begins with love.

Work, deed, act. Ergon. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. Good works are not the root of salvation. They are the fruit of it.

No one, nothing, none. No one can snatch them out of My hand. The security of the believer rests not in their grip but in His. And His grip never fails.
