“And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.”
דָּם
Blood. Dam. The life of a creature is in its blood. The blood of Jesus speaks mercy. It purchased our forgiveness and sealed the new covenant.
