“And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:”
תְּנוּךְ
The tip, the extremity, the lobe. Tenuwk. In the consecration ritual blood was placed on the tip of the ear. What you allow in through your ear shapes who you become. The ear consecrated to God hears differently.

Foot, step, journey. Regel. The priest placed blood on the ear to hear God, the thumb to serve God, the foot to walk with God. The whole person consecrated — from hearing to doing to going.
