“And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.”

properly, to turn aside from the road (for a lodging or any other purpose), i.e. sojourn (as a guest); also to shrink, fear (as in a strange place); also to gather forhostility (as afraid)
יָנָה
you will maltreat

To oppress, to treat violently. Yanah. He was oppressed and afflicted yet He opened not His mouth. The silence of Jesus before His accusers was chosen not forced.
