“As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.”
הָיָה
I AM. Hayah. The self-existent one. When Moses asked God His name God said I AM THAT I AM. Not I was or I will be but I AM. Always present always existing always enough. Jesus used the same words: before Abraham was I AM.
כָּפַר

Cover, atone. Kaphar. To cover over sin. The root of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. At the cross Jesus made the ultimate kaphar, covering our sin completely and forever.
