Luke 1:71
King James Version
6 Jun 2026
“That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;”
σωτηρία
From soter — saviour, the one who rescues from danger. Soteria is comprehensive — healing, wholeness, rescue, preservation. Peter stands before the council and says there is no other name. Not as arrogance. As the deepest mercy — there is one who can save, and His name is Jesus.
