“Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.”

To enter, to go in, to come in. Eiserchomai. Enter through the narrow gate. The narrow gate requires humility. Pride cannot fit through it. Only those who bow can enter.

it came to pass
