“Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.”

Witness, one who testifies, martyr. Martus. You will be My witnesses. A witness testifies to what they have seen and experienced. Your testimony is your most powerful tool.

Jesus opens the door and says: this is how you come. Not as a subject before a king. As a child before a Father who already knows what you need.
