Five. Pénte. The number appears throughout Scripture in moments of provision and testing: five loaves feeding thousands, five wise virgins ready, five foolish ones not. What you have in hand is never too little if surrendered.

Little sparrow, small bird. Strouthíon. Not one falls to the ground apart from your Father. The smallest, cheapest life is known and counted by God. Nothing is beneath his notice.

To sell, to trade. Pōléō. Jesus overturned the tables of those who had turned the temple into a marketplace. What you sell reveals what you value. Trade wisely.

Two, a pair. Dýo. A witness requires two, a cord of two is not easily broken, and Jesus sent his disciples out two by two. Agreement between two carries weight.

One, a single one, unity. Heis. The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Oneness is not uniformity but wholeness. Let nothing divide what God has declared united.

To forget, to neglect. Forgetting what is behind. Some things must be deliberately let go of in order to move forward with God.

God. Theos. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The ultimate reality. The source of all existence. Personal knowable and present.
