Whoever, whichever, any who. Hostis. The word points not to a specific named person but to anyone who meets the condition. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Identity here is defined by response.

To dig, to excavate. Skáptō. The man who buried his talent dug in the earth and hid what he was given. Digging can preserve or it can waste. Use what you have been entrusted with.
