“And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.”

Blessed, happy, to be envied. Makarios. Blessed are the poor in spirit. Makarios describes the state of those who are right with God. It is deeper than happiness. It is well-being of the soul.
