Luke 14:32
King James Version
10 Jun 2026
“Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.”
εἰρήνη
The Greek eirene carries the Hebrew shalom: wholeness, completeness, nothing missing, nothing broken. Jesus says in Me you have eirene, not in the absence of trouble, but in the middle of it. The peace He gives is not the peace of circumstances. It is the peace of His presence.
