“It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. ”

To live, to be alive. Zao. I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live. Life in Scripture is always relational. To live is to be connected to the source of life.

to rejoice

To rejoice, to be glad. Chairo. Rejoice in the Lord always. Chairo is more than feeling happy. It is the settled joy of one who knows God is in control and that the outcome is certain.
