“So he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?”
κύριος
Lord, master, owner. Kurios. Jesus is Lord. The foundational confession of Christianity. Lord means owner. To confess Jesus as Lord is to surrender ownership of your life.
