Mammon, wealth, material possessions. Mamonas. You cannot serve God and mammon. Mammon is not just money. It is the spirit that makes money your security instead of God.

Whenever, when, as soon as. Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and the door will be opened whenever you knock. The invitation is always current.

Fail, cease, die out. Ekleipō. The heavens and earth will pass away, but God's word will not cease. What is finite will eventually ekleipō. Anchor to what cannot.

To receive, to welcome, to accept. He came to His own and His own did not receive Him. But to all who received Him He gave the right to become children of God.

Tent, tabernacle, dwelling place. Skēnē. God commanded Moses to build a tabernacle so he could dwell among his people. The Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. God has always been moving toward nearness.
