Luke 19:27
King James Version
9 Jun 2026
“But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.”
ἐχθρός
Enemy, adversary, hostile. Echthros. Love your enemies. The command to love enemies is the most radical ethical demand in history. Only the grace of God makes it possible.
