Day. Hemera. This is the day the LORD has made. Every day is a gift from God. The right response to any day is rejoicing in the One who gave it.

To return, turn back. Hypostréphō. The disciples returned to Jerusalem with great joy after the ascension. Turning back is not always retreat. Sometimes it is obedience.

to stay under (behind), i.e. remain; figuratively, to undergo, i.e. bear (trials), have fortitude, persevere

Jesus. Iesous. The Greek form of Yeshua meaning the LORD saves. The name given before His birth. In His name is salvation healing and authority over every power of darkness.

Child, servant, boy. Pais. Behold My servant whom I have chosen. The Servant of the LORD came not to be served but to serve. His humility is our model.

Jerusalem, the holy city. Hierousalḗm. The city where God chose to place his name, where the temple stood, where Christ was crucified and rose again. Every promise runs through Jerusalem.

To know, to understand, to perceive. Ginosko. This is eternal life that they may know You. The deepest knowing is relational not informational. God wants to be known.

Parent, father or mother. Goneus. Children, obey your parents in the Lord. The ones who gave you life reflect the God who authored it. Honor them.

Joseph, a name carried by seven Israelites. Iōsḗph. From the pit to the palace, from the manger to Egypt, God worked through every bearer of this name. Faithful obscurity often precedes appointed purpose.

Mother, source, nurturer. Mētēr. Honor your father and your mother, a command repeated across both testaments. The role carries weight heaven itself recognizes. Honor her.
