“And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?”
ἐξουσία
Authority, right, power. Exousia. All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Jesus delegates His authority to His church. We operate under His commission.

This, this one, this person. This is My Son whom I love. With Him I am well pleased. The words spoken over Jesus are spoken over you through your union with Him.

To give, to grant, to bestow. Didomi. God so loved the world that He gave. Giving is the language of love. The greatest gift is always the giver themselves.
