“And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.”
χαίρω
To rejoice, to be glad. Chairo. Rejoice in the Lord always. Chairo is more than feeling happy. It is the settled joy of one who knows God is in control and that the outcome is certain.

Agree, consent, make a bargain. Syntíthemai. Judas consulted with the chief priests and consented to betray Jesus for money. Every agreement is a covenant of the will. Choose carefully what you consent to.

To give, to grant, to bestow. Didomi. God so loved the world that He gave. Giving is the language of love. The greatest gift is always the giver themselves.
