“And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.”
προφήτης
Prophet, one who speaks forth. Prophetes. No prophecy was ever produced by the will of man. The prophets spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
