“Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.”

To bring, to carry, to bear. Phero. Holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit carries the messenger so the message arrives with divine accuracy.
