“After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.”

This, this one, this person. This is My Son whom I love. With Him I am well pleased. The words spoken over Jesus are spoken over you through your union with Him.

Two, a pair. Dýo. A witness requires two, a cord of two is not easily broken, and Jesus sent his disciples out two by two. Agreement between two carries weight.
