“But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.”

To raise up, to awaken, to arouse. Egeiro. He is not here He has risen. The resurrection is the pivot of history. Everything before it points to it. Everything after flows from it.
