“For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.”

All, every, whole, any. Pas. All things work together for good. All authority has been given to Me. All the promises of God are yes in Christ. God thinks in absolutes of blessing.

To fear, to be afraid, to reverence. Phobeo. Do not fear those who kill the body. Fear God and nothing else needs to be feared. He holds what every other fear threatens.

To be courageous, to be bold, to take heart. Tharseo. Take heart I have overcome the world. Courage is not the absence of fear. It is acting in faith despite it.
