“For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.”

Jewish, belonging to Judah. Ioudaios. Salvation is from the Jews. God chose a people to bring the Messiah into the world. His choice of Israel was for the benefit of all nations.
