“A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.”
κρίσις
Judgment, decision, tribunal. Krisis. The Father has committed all judgment to the Son. The one who died for sinners is the one who will judge them. That is both sobering and gracious.

To extinguish, to quench, to put out. Sbennumi. Do not quench the Spirit. The Spirit can be grieved and quenched by persistent disobedience. Keep the fire burning through obedience.
