“And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:”

may understand,

To understand, to put together mentally. Suniemi. He who has ears to hear let him hear. Understanding Scripture requires more than intelligence. It requires a teachable and willing heart.
