“Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.”

To bring, to carry, to bear. Phero. Holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit carries the messenger so the message arrives with divine accuracy.
