“And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.”

To raise up, to awaken, to arouse. Egeiro. He is not here He has risen. The resurrection is the pivot of history. Everything before it points to it. Everything after flows from it.

Child, boy, little one. Paidion. Unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the kingdom. Childlike dependence and trust is the posture God honours most.
