“He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.”

To gain, to profit, to acquire. Kerdaino. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul. The world offers much and costs everything. Christ costs everything and gives more.
