“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”
ἐγείρω
To raise up, to awaken, to arouse. Egeiro. He is not here He has risen. The resurrection is the pivot of history. Everything before it points to it. Everything after flows from it.
ὀλιγόπιστος
O you of little faith?

Of little faith, lacking trust. Why are you so afraid you of little faith? Jesus called out small faith not to shame but to grow it. He always responds to even small faith.
