“Hear ye now what the Lord saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.”

To arise, to stand up, to establish. Quwm. Arise shine for your light has come. God calls His people to get up. Passivity is not the posture of those who carry His glory.

Voice, sound, thunder. Qowl. A voice of one calling in the desert. God speaks in many ways. The voice that matters most is the one that points to Jesus.
