“Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.”
שָׁמַר
To keep, to guard, to observe. Shamar. The LORD will keep you from all harm. He watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
