“And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall: and he smote her again.”

Foot, step, journey. Regel. The priest placed blood on the ear to hear God, the thumb to serve God, the foot to walk with God. The whole person consecrated — from hearing to doing to going.
