“Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:”

To persuade, to trust, to be confident. Peitho. I am confident that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. God finishes what He starts in those who yield.
